Roles and Responsibilities
- Own and deliver features from development to completion while ensuring high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to develop and launch new user-facing features for the website and TV applications.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them effectively.
- Develop reusable code and cross-functional libraries that contribute to the company’s in-house design system.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through technical documentation, data-flow diagrams (DFDs), and code comments.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- In-depth understanding of how web browsers work.
- Strong knowledge of software design and architecture patterns.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
- Understanding of the purpose and benefits of frontend frameworks, with experience in technologies such as React or AngularJS.
- Open-source contributions are an added advantage.
- Proficiency with Git and other code versioning tools.
