Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of new products and solutions, along with enhancements, updates, and issue resolution for existing systems.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly in development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Follow established coding standards and software development best practices.
- Develop unit tests and automated test scripts in support of test-driven development (TDD).
- Use coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code for code generation, code review, and test creation, where applicable.
- Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate new ideas and solutions.
- Work independently when required while collaborating effectively with team members and distributed teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically less than 2 years of experience developing products and platforms using UI or backend web technologies.
- Experience with Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Generative AI, and AI agent development.
- Good understanding of coding best practices and UI and backend architectures.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and a sense of urgency.
