Job Description
- Debug software products using systematic testing methods to develop, implement, and maintain quality standards.
- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and testing programs.
- Analyze and prepare software testing standards and procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results to support software debugging and modifications.
- Analyze test results to verify existing functionality and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Work closely with development engineers to identify and resolve software issues.
- Provide technical feedback for evaluations of programming languages, systems, and computational software.
- Help ensure the quality and reliability of computer systems and their integration with broader scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
- Perform software audits and testing in accordance with established test plans and procedures where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Understanding of software quality assurance and testing processes.
- Ability to analyze test results and identify software defects.
- Knowledge of developing and executing software test plans and test scripts.
