Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications on AWS.
- Support cloud infrastructure management using EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate teams when required.
- Participate in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application-related problems.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
- Assist with implementing security best practices and access management using IAM.
- Contribute to automation and scripting activities using Python, Shell scripting, or AWS tools.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about emerging AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/MCA/BCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
- 0–1 year of experience.
- Basic understanding of AWS Cloud services such as:
- EC2
- S3
- IAM
- VPC
- RDS
- CloudWatch
- Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of monitoring and troubleshooting concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or willingness to obtain the certification.
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, or Terraform.
- Internship, academic project, or practical experience involving cloud technologies.
