Job Description
As an ASIC Engineer at Meta, you may be responsible for:
- Participating in micro-architecture, design, and verification reviews.
- Providing technical feedback to improve hardware designs.
- Designing and developing RTL or HLS code for IPs.
- Analyzing designs and improving Power, Performance, and Area (PPA).
- Supporting verification infrastructure and improving verification coverage.
- Working with simulation acceleration and post-silicon validation activities.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to develop efficient and high-performance hardware solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or already holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Degree must be completed before joining Meta.
- Exposure to micro-architecture development.
- Exposure to RTL development using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and digital/logic design fundamentals.
- Ability to obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC).
- Familiarity with Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and Power Optimization.
- Pursuing or holding a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in datapath development.
- Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS).
- Scripting knowledge using Python or Perl.
