CPCL Jobs 2026 – Junior Engineering Assistant Recruitment
Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), a Navratna Public Sector Organization and Group Company of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, has announced recruitment for 60 Non-Executive Personnel positions.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
For the Production position, B.Sc. with Chemistry as a major subject is also accepted.
The required minimum percentage is generally:
- General/OBC/EWS: 60%
- Eligible reserved categories: 55%

Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification work experience is required for all four positions.
Relevant experience may include:

Age as on 01 July 2026
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC: 3 years relaxation
- PwBD: Up to 10–15 years, depending on the applicable category
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per applicable rules
Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be appointed in the Non-Supervisory Cadre (Grade IV) with an IDA pay scale of:
₹25,000 – ₹1,05,000
The starting basic pay is ₹25,000.

- Duration: 2 hours
- General Aptitude: 50 questions
- Discipline Knowledge: 70 questions
- Negative Marking: ¼ mark for every incorrect answer
