Roles and Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated software delivery.
- Infrastructure Automation: Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible to manage cloud environments.
- Container Management: Manage and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
- System Monitoring: Deploy and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure observability.
- Security Operations: Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the pipeline, including automated vulnerability scanning.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Optimize cloud resource allocation and performance on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Troubleshooting: Provide advanced-level support for pipeline failures, deployment issues, and environment configuration errors.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and incident report logs.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with development teams to ensure environment parity and support deployment needs.
- Innovation: Continuously research and implement emerging DevOps technologies to improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, cloud computing, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote collaboration environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex technical projects.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in automation languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools like ArgoCD.
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability at scale.
