Educational Qualification
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Mathematics, or Informatics
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of statistical software
- Hands-on experience with SAS, SQL, and Business Objects / Dashboard creation (preferred)
- Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong teamwork abilities
- Well-organized, focused, and flexible approach to work
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with junior data scientists and offshore teams
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify business needs and translate them into analytical questions and data-driven solutions
- Work closely with data scientists, consultants, and external clients to uncover actionable insights
- Perform data analysis to understand client and internal datasets, workflows, and policies
- Execute cross-functional best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient analytics delivery
- Provide ongoing customer and sales support by identifying opportunities and resolving issues
- Create, analyze, and interpret monitoring reports and performance metrics
- Identify trends and patterns and draw logical conclusions from analytical outputs
- Read and import raw data from multiple formats into the SAS environment
- Perform detailed data analysis using SAS, including macros
- Generate reports, tables, and visualizations using SAS and Excel
- Conduct scorecard and portfolio monitoring using SAS, SQL, and Excel
- Manage data validation, auditing, and transformation across varied data layouts
- Perform data interrogation, manipulation, and data mining activities
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and offshore associates to ensure model quality and best practices
- Analyze large datasets to generate insights across consumer journeys, media performance, and market conditions
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and actionable manner
- Validate models and deliver client-ready reports covering ROI analysis, forecasting, simulation, and optimization
- Ensure continuous quality control and anomaly detection with new data streams
- Participate in analytics discussions during client meetings and cross-functional collaborations
