Required Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields
- Foundation Degree (FDA, FdSc) or Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Renewable Energy or Data Analysis is also acceptable
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA
- Ability to work with large datasets and query data efficiently
- Programming skills in Python, R, SQL or similar (strongly desired)
- Experience with automated data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis and communicating insights from quantitative data
- Exposure to utility-scale renewable plants is preferred
- Experience with monitoring and SCADA systems is an added advantage

Knowledge (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
Basic understanding of:
- Principles of electricity generation
- Key photovoltaic (PV) plant components and operations
- PV plant performance parameters (e.g., Performance Ratio, Availability)
- Data flows underlying SCADA and monitoring systems
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor plant health through the Monitoring System and analyze alarms to identify technical issues or underperformance
- Calculate KPIs and performance metrics such as Availability, Performance Ratio, etc.
- Perform data analysis to determine root causes of performance issues and quantify impact
- Collaborate with Asset Managers and the Global Performance & Monitoring Team to resolve known issues
- Prepare regular performance reports highlighting KPIs and explaining any underperformance
- Contribute to continuous improvement by developing tools for automating data analysis and reporting
- Support testing and implementation of the company’s new Data Lake and System of Insight for KPI management, reporting, and analytics
