Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years of finance experience OR
- Diploma with 4–7 years of finance experience
- Proven experience in supporting new finance capabilities
- Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools
- Experience with finance reporting and planning system technologies
- Hands-on experience in providing technical support for financial platforms
- Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to work across matrixed organizations and connect insights across functions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry
- Background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Exposure to global finance operations
- Knowledge of advanced financial modeling techniques
- Experience in business performance management
- Finance transformation experience leveraging modern technologies
- Prior experience in a multinational capability center
- Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as:
- Oracle Hyperion / EPM
- SAP S/4HANA
- Anaplan
- Tableau / Power BI

Roles & Responsibilities
In a rapidly evolving technology environment, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the implementation of real-time and continuous forecasting capabilities
- Perform baseline analyses and define current and future states using traditional and digital approaches
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI, and ML adoption
- Recommend process and governance changes to transition from batch to continuous forecasting
- Collaborate closely with Business, Accounting, FP&A, Technology, and other stakeholders
- Partner with Amgen’s Technology teams to support existing and new finance platforms
- Work with local and global teams on AI, ML, and RPA use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global Centers of Excellence to enhance operational efficiency
- Contribute to a strong learning culture and improve adoption of technical tools
- Act as a subject matter expert for local financial systems and data
- Support global finance teams with centrally delivered financial reporting through Tableau and other tools
- Drive and support local adoption of Anaplan for operating expense planning and tracking
