Roles & Responsibilities
- Review and investigate purchases or activities to identify fraudulent behavior
- Conduct unbiased and thorough investigations of users and orders
- Use internal back-office tools to take appropriate actions on accounts or orders
- Provide exceptional support to users regarding fraudulent charges and activities
- Collaborate with Payments and Support teams to resolve fraud-related issues
- Engage with the Poshmark community on sensitive matters in a professional manner
6-Month Accomplishments
- Gain strong understanding of Poshmark policies, processes, and procedures
- Become proficient with all internal Poshmark tools
- Learn various fraud types and confidently make investigation decisions
- Work independently and cross-functionally to improve and streamline fraud processes
12+ Month Accomplishments
- Successfully complete and exceed all 6-month responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert in fraud detection and prevention
- Manage and contribute to multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
About the Role
This is an entry-level position, ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to transition into a career in fraud operations. The Fraud Operations Associate plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and trusted marketplace by detecting fraud, improving processes, and helping build scalable fraud prevention solutions.
Work Schedule: Candidates must be available to work Tuesday–Saturday / Sunday–Thursday / Wednesday–Sunday shifts.
