Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong exposure to Cloud Technologies and Cloud Delivery
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.
- Experience with generative AI models and understanding of machine learning algorithms
- Good scripting skills: Shell, PowerShell (mandatory); Python (good to have)
- Solid understanding of DevOps concepts and technologies
- Experience with containerization and microservices (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills
- Development experience in any programming language is a plus
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software following clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards
- Develop effective test code and ensure secure coding practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Contribute to backlog prioritization and support team members as needed
- Perform root cause analysis of incidents and drive continuous improvements
- Promote automation and self-service solutions
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Mentor and onboard new team members, including junior engineers
- Support team hiring activities and align team goals with company vision
- Clearly communicate the impact of deliverables across teams and customers
Scope of Work
- Architecting, planning sprints, designing, implementing, and rolling out a ground-up Azure SaaS solution in a DevOps environment
Technical Environment
- Software & Tools: Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Git, Hibernate, REST APIs, OAuth, Python, PowerShell
- Application Architecture: Scalable, resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant microservices
- Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure (ARM Templates, AKS, HDInsight, Application Gateway, Virtual Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
