Required Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of machine learning or statistical techniques for structured or event data.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly Dash, or Matplotlib/Seaborn.
- Understanding of process event or behavioral data (case IDs, activities, timestamps) is desirable.
- Exposure to process mining tools like Celonis EMS, SAP Signavio, or PM4Py.
- Knowledge of data quality concepts, ETL processes, and pipeline design.
- Enthusiasm to learn AI/ML, MLOps, and process analytics within enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in data analytics or data science, including data preparation, analysis, or visualization.
- Exposure to event-based data and process-oriented data science methods.
- Experience with process performance reporting through visualization tools.
- Familiarity with feature engineering, data wrangling, and predictive modeling concepts.
- Academic or project experience in process simulations or operations research.
- Awareness of professional data science communities and willingness to upskill.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare, cleanse, and transform process event data for analysis and modeling.
- Assist in exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Contribute to dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly Dash.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists to design features, metrics, and predictive models.
- Support the creation and maintenance of process data pipelines ensuring data quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from systems like SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
- Assist in process mining tasks, including event log preparation and analysis using Celonis or Signavio.
- Participate in documentation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Develop foundational understanding of Responsible AI and Explainable AI (XAI).
