Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduates
- Revit – MEP Certification is compulsory
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop designs that include necessary safety measures for construction and long-term use
- Create and implement the Constructability Review Process
- Review estimates and ensure the design team stays within budget
- Support value engineering and ensure approved trend estimates are reflected in drawings
- Manage change estimates during the design phase and assist in resolving cost-related issues
- Maintain documentation including Design Meeting Minutes, Design Packages, and Design Changes
- Develop and track the design schedule to align with the project timeline
- Coordinate with design teams and subcontractors to ensure schedule compliance
- Conduct office visits to monitor ongoing work
- Liaise with the Owner to ensure design timelines are met
- Raise and respond to RFIs to resolve design-related queries
- Review and verify design drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Check and evaluate tender drawings and specifications
- Perform other assigned duties as required
